As if the Royal Wedding wasn’t enough last year, we’re now expected to sing the national anthem in honour of Her Maj’s Jubilee. Well we at Feeling Gloomy won’t be joining in with the latest round of flag-waving! Instead, we’ll be using the occasion to stick two fingers up at the establishment and celebrating the music of the last Jubilee in 1977 by playing tons of tunes by bands like The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Jam, The Stranglers and The Damned, as well as the normal anthems of misery from the likes of David Bowie, The Smiths, Pixies, Joy Division, The Cure, Dolly Parton, Interpol, The Clash, Soft Cell, Kate Bush, Nirvana, Abba, Pulp, Jaques Brel...etc.
